Something I Learned

Coding is something where you can go
online, and make things appear on the screen, by typing in text. You can make anything you want to appear on
the screen, and make it do anything you want, with some basic lines of code.
This year, my favorite thing I
learned about, was coding with Java Script.
I love coding, because, in it, you can do anything you want, at any
time.
I use this really fun coding site
called Khan Academy. You can go online,
and code your own games, images, and moving images. You can also see other peoples games and
images. Khan Academy is a really great
place to learn how to code, for free.
I started coding about 1 year ago,
and I started off with a few basic rectangles and ellipses, but now I have been
doing stuff like games, and making cars move across the screen. I have been working on a game called
“Firestar’s Quest”, and I have learned how to make things move back and forth
across the screen, move, and then stop in the middle of the screen, and even
make it so you can use the arrow keys to move around and catch a virtual mouse
on the screen! I really hope my game
will come along well! BYE!
