PIZZA

I have a new paper for you...  :)

       THE GROSSEST PIZZA EVER!!!
Logan B. 4/21/14

The grossest pizza ever was made with some very unlikely toppings for a pizza!  Here is what you need if you want to make this pizza: Cheese, milk, fish, butter, ketchup, Teaching Textbooks 3,  chili, a pound of sugar, shoes, Legos, cabbage, 10 Hexbug Nanos, 5 tacks, and a pound of dirt, (two pounds if you’re feeling dirty)!  Oh, and also toilet water!

I used this recipe, and mixed all the stuff in a bowl.  I put it on a pan in the shape of a pizza.  Then, I stuck it in the oven.  My big brother came in the kitchen and shrieked, “AHH…  GROSS!”  and ran out of the room.  Now my little brother, said, “O. M. G-O-S-H!  WHAT SMELLS SO GOOOOOOOD?!  when I told him that it was my pizza, and offered him the first piece, he took a bite.  Then, he said, something like, “EEW…  NO, NO, NO, THIS IS HORRIFIC” while running to the toilet!  I gave a piece to my dad, and he did the same.  My big brother, Mom, and I, never dared to try a piece, but I am sure that this pizza, was, and is, the grossest pizza ever!!!

Massachusetts Institute of Technology

Guess what?   We got to go to Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)!  We went to MIT for a Lego car building class!  It was GREAT!!!  (Other than the fact that I didn't have a partner to work with and everybody else did so I got lower scores).  After we did the class we got to go to a hotel, that we put some of the things we brought in, and went to the Museum of Fine Arts!!!  It was awesome!  My favorite part was the rare and awesome coins!  (There were coins from 500 B.C. and little carved things from 2500 B.C.)  IT WAS SOOOO COOL!  Even better, after that we got to go and sleep in the hotel and we watched some of the Red Sox game!  IT WAS AWESOME!   In the morning we even got to swim in the pool!

Albert Einstein

      Albert Einstein
                           By, Logan                                                                                                3/31/14

Albert Einstein was born in Germany on March 14, 1879.  Albert had a difficult time learning how to speak.  Later in his life, he admitted that he would try each sentence out on himself, and when it sounded right, he would say it out loud.  He was kind of a loner and his only friend was his sister Maja.  As a kid, Albert was very curious.  He liked toys with wheels on them and got inspired by a compass that his father showed Albert when he was sick.  The reason I chose to write about Albert Einstein is because I wanted to learn more about him.  (Plus, Elijah took Annie Sullivan (who was my first choice)…)

One of Einstein’s best-known accomplishments was to discover E=mc2, aka Theory of Relativity.  Einstein won the Nobel Prize award for his discoveries in physics.  His discoveries helped make the atomic bomb.  He had hated the idea of the atomic bomb but wanted the USA to make it before Germany  did.  To help Einstein feel calm, would play the violin.  It was something he hated as a kid, but loved as an adult.

Albert was very messy, quirky, and funny.  For instance, one time he pushed all the buttons in an elevator.  Albert even taught a neighborhood kid to ride a bike!    His family nicknamed him “The Genius.”  Even though he was wild, and had crazy hair and dirty clothes, people thought he was very nice, and were happy about his accomplishments.  He has been on many magazine covers.  The way he changed America for the better is by inspiring other scientists.
